Our Executive Director

Mirembe Dan is an experienced environmental and conservation specialist with over 15 years of expertise in wildlife management, ecological research, environmental sustainability, and community-based conservation. As the Executive Director of Vituuko Consulting Limited, he provides strategic leadership in environmental consulting, research, feasibility studies, impact assessments, and sustainable development initiatives.

He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Conservation Biology and Wildlife Management from Kampala International University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife and Forestry Resource Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment from Nkumba University. He also holds a professional certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration and Management in Malaysia.

At Vituuko Consulting Limited, Dan provides technical oversight and quality assurance for consultancy assignments, leads multidisciplinary teams, and supports the design and implementation of research, environmental, and development projects. His expertise spans environmental and social impact assessments, biodiversity conservation, stakeholder engagement, natural resource management, monitoring and evaluation, and sustainability planning.

Dan has presented his work at international conferences and professional forums, including engagements in France and South Africa. He is also a published researcher and an active member of professional associations, including the Zookeepers’ Association of Uganda and the Association of Environmental Impact Assessors.

A visionary leader, Dan combines scientific rigor, strong analytical skills, and practical problem-solving approaches to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for clients across the public, private, and development sectors.

Our Managing Director

Ainemukama Fortunate is an accomplished Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Specialist with extensive experience in research, monitoring and evaluation, project management, and development consulting. She has supported a wide range of national and international development initiatives, providing technical expertise in programme evaluation, strategic planning, performance measurement, impact assessment, and evidence-based decision-making.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Victoria University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from Makerere University. She is currently a PhD Candidate at Nkumba University pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Development and Vocational Studies (DVS), with research focused on Monitoring and Evaluation systems within government institutions.

As the Managing Director of Vituuko Consulting Limited, Fortunate provides overall leadership and technical guidance for consultancy assignments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality research, evaluation, feasibility studies, and development advisory services. She has successfully led and contributed to numerous assignments involving programme design, baseline studies, mid-term and end-line evaluations, institutional assessments, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building initiatives across various sectors.

Her areas of expertise include monitoring and evaluation systems design, results-based management, project planning and management, quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, organizational performance assessment, and development programme evaluation. She has extensive experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and translating complex findings into practical recommendations that inform policy and programme improvements.

At Vituuko Consulting Limited, she plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, quality assurance, client engagement, and strategic growth, while promoting the use of evidence and learning to enhance development effectiveness and sustainable outcomes.
