Vituuko Consulting Limited is a Ugandan-based, multi-sectoral consulting firm headquartered in Entebbe, Uganda.

Meet Our Team Leaders

Our Executive Director

Mirembe Dan is an experienced environmental and conservation specialist with over 10 years of expertise in wildlife management, ecological research, and community-based conservation. As Executive Director of Vituuko Consulting, he leads strategic initiatives in environmental consulting and sustainable development.

He holds an MSc in Conservation Biology and Wildlife Management from Kampala International University, a Bachelor's in Wildlife and Forestry Resource Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment from Nkumba University. He also holds a professional certificate in GIS.

Currently serving as Head of the Primates Section at Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre (UWEC), Dan is known for his leadership in primate care, biodiversity monitoring, and innovative sustainability practices such as biogas production from animal waste.

Dan has presented his work internationally, including in France and South Africa, and is a published researcher and active member of professional associations such as the Zookeepers’ Association of Uganda and the Association of Environmental Impact Assessors.

A visionary leader, Dan combines scientific rigor with practical solutions to advance environmental sustainability in Uganda and beyond.

Our Managing Director

Ainemukama Fortunate is an accomplished Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert with extensive experience supporting national and international development initiatives in Uganda. She holds a Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Victoria University and a Bachelor's in Development Studies from Makerere University, and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management at Nkumba University.

Fortunate has served in both technical and leadership roles across a range of consultancy firms and government institutions, including Empower Consult Ltd, Busitema University, and Pazel Conroy Consulting Ltd. Her work has supported key programs with agencies such as the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Finance, World Vision, Plan International, Save the Children, and GIZ.

As Managing Director of Vituuko Consulting Limited, she brings a wealth of practical experience in strategic planning, project evaluation, and data-driven decision-making for sustainable development.
